14 November 2013 - We often are tempted to abandon our current situation for the other side's greener offerings.  But before we swap circumstances, we really should assess what we are about to willingly relinquish.  In  addition to having my basic needs of food and shelter met, I also enjoy a comfortable and easy life, a safe haven, ample affection, and, if one of the peeps is seated, a warm lap.  How could the unknown possibly top that?  So when I feel the draw of the world outside the window, I give myself five minutes to be rational.  In this case to be able to watch two birds in the bush is preferred.
