Me-usings and Me-emories

5 November 2013 - We all can get a bit big for our britches, so occasionally a downsizing is in order.  How better to realize our insignificance than to take several large steps back from ourselves, and acknowledge the scale.  Can one truly grasp the weight of all those zero place-holders?  The universe is incomprehensibly vast, and getting vaster by the moment.  We are just a blip in time.  None of which I find depressing, but oddly exhilarating.  I, after all, get to accumulate nine blips...nah-nah nah nah-nah.
