30 April 2015 - Periodically one should take inventory of life's pluses and minuses, in case an attitude adjustment is warranted. A string of misfortunes isn't a pattern; it is a random sequence, as is a rash of good luck. The fates are not "out to get us", but they are indifferent to our trajectories. So let's get on with living: find a patch of sunshine with a wide-angle view. See the big picture, and chuckle to yourself for we are amateurs in harlequin suits.
