Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

22 April 2015 - What can I say:  preferring a higher perch is in my genes.   Not that I encounter things, here in our domicile, that are on either side of me on the food chain, but it is nonetheless comforting to stretch out and survey my surroundings from this vantage point.  My nose can still detect the smell of cedar in the air, so my imagination is hardly required to visualize myself up a tree, unnoticed, reconnoitering the forest floor.  Tales have reached me of a prior occupant who rolled off this limb while sleeping...but I am willing to bet, if it's true, that he landed on his feet, startled but otherwise unharmed.
