13 June 2015 - One should always have an escape plan and a safe spot, should such ever be needed.  Such thinking isn't alarmist, but just a good strategy wherever you are on the food chain.  All this chatter about rising sea levels...and you know how I feel about getting wet...prompted me to determine where inside the house would keep me high (i.e., well above waters and dim deeps) and dry.  This spot won out, mainly because it is a fine observation point while being close to the larder.  If the shorter peep would furnish it with a comfy pillow, I would have no complaints...on this particular matter.
