Me-usings and Me-emories
26 December 2015 - I hope that all of you survived the onslaught of family. I for one can only tolerate so much togetherness, and then my primary desire is to flee for my life. Two days ago I resorted to hiding under the bedclothes...which worked very well. I was left alone, and much of the cacophony was damped to white noise. Since then we have had the house to ourselves...which is how I prefer it. I don't want to be the cranky guest, but I am acutely aware that I am not the only cat on these premises. My peeps have tried mightily to maintain the contrary illusion, but my nose still works and it tells me that there is definitely another of my kind lurking about. Plus the other day there was an unmistakable low-frequency warning coming from behind a closed door. My furry host has no manners... probably his breath is bad as well.
