5 February 2016 - Technically one is not asleep unless one's eye lids are shut. If one's eyes are glazed over, then one is enjoying much-needed rest. Either way the body benefits, but admitting to a nap usually results in an obligatory tease...the sort that expresses disbelief while trying to conceal envy. But I can't be shamed into compliance. We cats know that intense brain activity requires shutting down for periodic maintenance... otherwise we just aren't hitting on all cylinders.
