28 March 2017 - A requirement for my morning nap is that the bed is "ready"... which is far more complicated than you might guess.  First (and this is a huge obstacle to be surmounted), the taller peep must vacate.  My persuasive charms, quite effective on the shorter peep, have no effect whatsoever on his person.  After years of failed attempts, I now know, and must accept, that he will rise eventually.  Next comes the straightening of the bed covers.  I am an orderly sort, a fastidious groomer, a tidy cat, so surely you're not surprised that the bed must be made before I can rest easily.  Again, I must call on my patience:  sometimes <yawn> my morning nap happens in early afternoon.
