Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

9 March 2017 - Today I can finally put to rest the saga of our screened porch repair.  Five months after hurricane Matthew blew a tree down on its roof, the porch has been reconstructed.  Once again the doors onto the space are open, and I can come and go as I wish.... although I am not completely convinced that the workers are gone.  What if they left behind a hammer, and pull into the driveway while I am trying to rest al fresco?  After a few days of undisturbed peace, my tensed muscles will relax.  Despite repeated reminders that they were to leave one corner of the screen unattached so that I could jump off the porch if I wanted, they forgot.  In great chagrin they fabricated me a real exit... so all will be eventually forgiven (but not forgotten).
