Me-usings and Me-emories
11 November 2017 - Some days atop a pillow on the bed doesn't satisfy my need for elevation. That is when I head for various railings that overlook a lower floor. One could experience vertigo in some of these spots, but I figure if the gargoyle can hang ten, so can I. I suppose my ancestors climbed a handy tree when a similar mood struck them. The surrounding foliage would make them even harder to spot, upping their predatory advantage (although they could also be the one pursued). I am rather exposed on this ledge, and I certainly don't blend into my surroundings. However it is rare, I have found, for peeps to acknowledge things that are above their heads... and this statement can be taken in multiple ways.
