30 April 2019 - I have been spending more and more of my time outdoors... and it, and my time there, are great.  From the back porch I can survey our southern flank while basking in the soon-to-be-May sunshine.  Mostly I keep a watchful eye and attuned ear to the resident beeps, but occasionally I spot something more formidable shambling through our yard.  Some of the nosier ones actually have the gall, typically under the cover of darkness, to investigate my guardhouse... I know this to be true, not because I confronted the rogue, but because of the telltale scents left behind.  There is a reason for my longevity.
