Me-usings and Me-emories
27 April 2019 - Me and my pals are guarding the local watering hole. Everyone, friend or foe, gets thirsty... which means eventually they must make their way to the faucet and wet their throats. As my peeps will avow, I prefer my drink freshly flowing, rather than bowl-ready. I do occasionally have to resort to the latter, and it certainly is a handy alternative, but it isn't my first choice. A particularly heinous act is to poison the community well, carried out both by the residents (to enervate the approaching forces) and the aggressor (to force a demoralizing evacuation). We cats are as territorial as the next, but I would never foul my water.
