rocker launch

Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

10 November 2020 - According to the lore, cats and rocking chairs make an uneasy combination.  A goodly portion of my waking time could fall in the "uneasy" range, so I really shouldn't blame my anxiety on the furniture.  There are only a few chairs in our abode that permit me to sit under them, and sometimes that sheltered feeling is what I am seeking.  When I didn't live within four walls, I was always on the hunt for a roof, a place to stay dry during a deluge (although I have never seen cats falling from the sky, I am still young).  It could be a habit from those days, or maybe I am testing out a new hiding spot?  Whatever my reason for sitting here, I shall keep an eye on my surroundings... and the first sign of movement I will be gone.

  1. well, we all know that the best place to stay dry inside the house is underneath something...all that wet stuff coming down could end badly if you aren't careful
