Me-usings and Me-emories
16 Mar 2022 - WOW! Once again I am thankful to have a solid roof over my head... but just in case I hunkered under a handy piece of furniture. Rain pounded our roof, and the very air boomed and flared. As I said, shelter during inclement weather is a blessing. I'm not sure how my interloping orange friend made out, but he didn't miss this morning's breakfast. I wish him well (and also fare-thee-well). At least the downpour temporarily washed the pollen from my screened-porch floorboards. I am not fond of grooming my paws when they're coated in yellow grit. My sharp eyesight has noticed tiny green weeps rappelling from the trees, on ropes so fine that even I can only infer their existence. The occasional one finds its way onto my porch, and is dispatched for its insubordination... who wants to spend a long lifetime as a weep?

Catty Corner
word of the day - cumeowlus, large cotton balls in the sky, sometimes shaped like beeps and meeps and squeeps (and pretty as long as they don't obscure the sun)
