Me-usings and Me-emories

5 Mar 2022 - Different window, different room, different direction, but still the job involves lots of biding my time.  Lately the beeps have been building toward a feathered frenzy, dashing themselves against the glass or proclaiming at full volume.  Their antics are amusing, even entertaining, so my life is never dull.  In fact boredom is the desired state of every elder cat.  We youngsters have a bit too much energy to chill for long periods, but after another ten or so years of streaking through rooms and up stairs, I too shall enjoy the more sedentary occupation of being the old meow of the mountain.
