Me-usings and Me-emories
7 Mar 2022 - There have been enough warm afternoons for me to not feel guilty taking a siesta during those prime hours. And if you aren't in the habit of napping, I encourage you to occasionally indulge. Those moments of shut-eye are amazingly restorative (and as close to luxury as this former stray is likely to get). Mostly I recoup the energy expended on patrolling our domicile, but occasionally I dreamily imagine the fun I'd have if that porch screen were to suddenly vanish. Watch out, beeps and leeps! The shorter peep tells me that sometimes my whiskers and paws twitch while I doze... which sounds so undignified I'm not sure she is telling the truth.
