5 Jan 2022 - The office manager should lead through example, so wishing this new year to start out on a productive note I have reported to work.  Actually both peeps were warming their desk chairs when I arrived, always a good sign.  I visited each, to underscore my support and to encourage camaraderie and other positive thoughts.  My presence is a distraction to their tasks, so I didn't stay long and quietly took up an unobtrusive corner, available should they need me, to watch and gauge my role in keeping our business fiscally healthy ("in the black" is a favorite phrase of mine).
