Me-usings and Me-emories
4 Jan 2023 - I am settling in, not as jumpy as several days ago, accepting this "new thing" as ordinary (so far). I do like this bout of summery weather, especially on the heels of that icy period, where I wasn't permitted out on my screened porch. Even my peeps were not happy with that persistent chill... not that our unanimous vote impacted the thermometer one degree. Misery loves a lap, and the shorter one equally appreciated my warmth. If this "new thing" could become synonymous with balmy temperatures, then I would immediately cease my fondness for the old ways... meanwhile I'll just try to save this sunshine.
