2 Oct 2023 - Something is up.  Although the feeling isn't so tangible that my fur is aquiver, I can tell we have deviated from "normal".  And it isn't just the relocation of the deck furniture:  containers have been pulled from closets, where they have been stowed our entire stay, and now stand as ominous sentinels.  My peeps have been back and forth, busy with a plan to which I am not privy.  Yet last evening we three sat in the end-of-day light, and there was a comfy lap for me to nap... the warmest I had been all day!  I am torn between hiding and sticking close.
