10 Oct 2023 - It is most fortunate that cats are early-risers, because so are those interlopers.  If I were to lie around until mid-morning, the no-gooders would be entrenched in their sneaky business and I would have double the trouble on my paws.  So as soon as the sky begins to brighten, I make my rounds, peering out portals, sniffing the air... trying to gauge where today's assault will be.  By the time breakfast is offered, I have worked up an appetite... I earn my kibble.
