15 Dec 2023 - Yes, I am in that picture, but very hard to spot... just like I like it. Of late the days have passed slowly: without peeps around to break the silence, provoke a skedaddle, make a fuss over me, I only have work and naps to fill the time. There probably isn't a square foot of our domicile's interior that I've not visited in my patrol, and even revisiting each spot my day isn't overbooked. The crazy beep still attacks the westerly portal, so if I'm bored I will sit on the window ledge and watch its antics. Eventually (although I do get a bit anxious about it actually happening) I detect activity at the back door, and I race to see if it's the arrival of the shorter peep or an unwelcome interloper.

I see you! Archy sez that if you want life to be a little more interesting (but not scary), scoop your kibble out of the bowl before eating it and chase a few pieces around on the uncarpeted floors
