8 Dec 2023 - All of these recent changes to our domicile's interior has added to my work load.  Not only are there more places for interlopers to hide (as if I didn't have enough spots to patrol) but I have to enter their mind-space... an unsettling proposition to think like the enemy.  How would they perceive the landscape, what would appeal to their need for safety?  But we cats have a strong sense of self, so I am not afraid of losing my way, morphing into the "other"... I just have the urge afterwards to more thoroughly bathe.  It's a dirty job.
