Me-usings and Me-emories
7 Dec 2023 - My space and life have been invaded! This creature (it smells vaguely organic) seems to be whispering in my ear, but actually I haven't heard it make a peep. Certainly interlopers that are quiet are preferable to the noisy sort, but I would rather not have them at all. Besides having no voice, this sentinel hasn't moved a muscle... so at least I don't have to worry about it sneaking up on me. I give it a wide berth, and periodically check to ensure that nothing has changed. I suppose I could attempt to topple it, but my prior life taught me not to swat at a hornet's nest.

I dunno....if it hasn't done anything nefarious yet, I'd try knocking it over to see what happens. Some years my neighborhood has multiple different species of these things (white, wire, wood, grapevine)....is most peculiar
