Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

30 Jun 2024 - Sometimes, if Mr. Sol has taken a break, midday resembles the edges of the day:  dim light, pale sky, chilly temperatures.  But there is no fine print in my work contract that gives me a pass when the weather is suboptimal... so here I am, making the best of the situation, and hopefully being an aggravation to those interlopers.  Thankfully a few random patrols of my screened deck will be all that is required, and the remainder of my shift can be spent indoors, where there are cushions and artificial lighting.

  1. We all have our crosses to bear…mine is swiffering all of the drifts of cat hair that gets shed or yanked out every week (mostly shed…only occasionally yanked out)

  2. I can guess who is doing the yanking (me-ouch)
