12 Jun 2024 - Well, judging by Mr. Sol's diminished effects, I would say with some assurance that we have arrived in the hinterlands.  But, grousing aside (for the moment), I do have my own personal screened porch with panoramic views.  The terrain is very different here, not as jungly, not as dense, which should make it more difficult for interlopers to hide from my gaze.  So far I have had no interesting encounters... which is good:  after my ordeal I might not be in tip-top form... just give me a few days.
