4 Jun 2025 - An out-of-the-way room, darkened and quiet, is the best way for me to soothe a jangled nervous system.  This morning was quite traumatic, and in the end not as awful as I imagined:  I was packed off to the white-coats.  Easily enough said, but the "packed-off" part required both peeps hunting me down (they now know my best hiding spot) and dragging me out, while I screeched in terror.  Yes, quite traumatic indeed, but then nothing more scary than a car ride followed, in the company of the shorter peep who was trying to soothe my fears.  Obviously I survived, and am now "recovering"
