Me-usings and Me-emories
4 Jul 2025 - Interlopers start the day early, and so do I. It is very gratifying to be out on my personal screened deck when visibility is limited and the only dependable sense is my ears. And the telltale whooshes and skitters that I hear! There are seeds waiting in the feeder, and the beeps would like to supplement their diet. So in they wing, some unmistakably recognized by their peculiar flight whirr. Not surprisingly the big beeps get first dibs, but patience pays off for the little guys... if only the squeep doesn't show up.
