19 Aug 2025 - And just to illustrate that I'm up for change, I am facing the opposite direction on my personal sun room ledge. The view is quite different, the napping conditions not dissimilar. In this orientation I can see through the woods the water that curves past our hinterland domicile... which means that we are equally vulnerable from land or by sea. I take both threats seriously, but the sort of interlopers I most commonly see are the landed sort, so keeping eyes on what moves in the forest is my highest priority.

I’m very glad you are willing to be flexible (figuratively and literally)….how else can one truly protect one’s territory?! I hope your peeps fully appreciate the sacrifices you make for their sake…maybe a few extra treats are due
