6 Aug 2025 - My personal sun room is such a warm, inviting space, with my very own portal ledge on which to sprawl and nap.  But having three sides flanked by ungoverned wilderness means that it is a prime entry point for interlopers.  Just now I heard some skittering in this corner, so I am there to draw the line and meet the challenge.  Evidently my presence was sufficient deterrent as no ne'er-do-well materialized before my eyes... another successful day on the job.
