5 Sep 2025 - My work is never-ending, and this recent activity is all from my personal screened deck.  This time one of those befuddled beeps is toeing the line I've drawn, wondering (if its tiny brain is capable of inference) should it dare hopping over to the feeder.  My loud-and-clear warning is not to get any ideas about the deck... because that is off-limits.  Even in drippy weather I must make my rounds:  it takes a deluge to keep the interlopers away.  When this matter resolves, I will take some time for personal grooming... cats with any self-respect don't like to be wet.
