Shamus on view

Me-usings and Me-emories

4 Sep 2025 - I am not the only one out and about early in the morning.  The cheeky cheep often forages below the beep feeder for any seeds scattered on the ground.  I have noticed this behavior, and keep watch for its appearance during my deck patrol.  My glare is particularly effective with this interloper, as it has never approached our domicile and certainly not assaulted our walls.  We both possess smarts and caution, and for that I respect it... unlike its squeep cousin that is both noisy and nosy, and is only asking for retribution.

  1. I’m glad you included an arrow pointing to said cheep…wouldn’t have noticed him otherwise! Hitty saw something interesting today, but despite being right next to her, Archy was oblivious….sigh…kids…

  2. a cat's perceptions are more honed, it is true (but then it may not be interested in it)
