6 Sep 2025 - My deck surveillance continues (with no end in sight). At least this morning, at this moment, I have the place to myself. Of course that can change in a tail switch, and so I sit and watch and listen. Not that I'm neglecting the rest of my patrol, the domicile's interior and my personal sun room will all be examined in due time. But right now, I am here, fully present on the situation. To turn my thoughts elsewhere is to present a chink in my tuxedo armor.
