11 Jun 2026 - As you can see, I am settling in nicely.  And Mr. Sol has certainly put out the welcome mat.  I don't deny that the hinterland is much more to my liking when brightly (warmly) illuminated.  My two peeps have been very busy with their peep stuff, but I am gently insisting on my routine... and morning brushings and midday treats have been reestablished.  I have had to reset my notion of interloper:  beeps and squeeps are all that I've spotted so far (but here and there I smell a meep).  So, yes, settling in....
