15 Jun 2026 - After a busy day of guarding the domicile, I look forward to a night's rest.  I remain on call during the dark hours, and throughout my numerous visits to the hinterland have occasionally been called into action by a less-than-bright (perhaps just lost?) interloper... but it's not common.  So until Mr. Sol lightens the sky and brightens the room, I can lounge, stretch, bathe, snooze, whatever I want.  It is true that "whatever I want" also directs my day, but it nonetheless feels different, actually indulgent to lie around "doing nothing".
