23 October 2013 - Although peeps think that they are higher up on the food chain than my species, even they quickly learn to proceed cautiously and to be aware of their surroundings.  Although "gut instinct" isn't one of those officially recognized, one can't, and shouldn't, deny that feeling of something being amiss or tinged with threat.  There may be perceived safety in numbers, that "I've got your back" is sufficient protection, but I am not the trusting sort.  "I've got my back" is much more comforting.
