a little bird told me

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

31 March 2014 - I wasn't intending a Tweety-and-Sylvester photo op, but that is what we got.  Look closely near my front paws to see the crazed vireo that for the past week has provided me lots of free entertainment at the dining room window.  Normally the beep is a small blur on the other side of the glass, but occasionally it has to pause and catch its breath.  The rational part of my brain knows that it is safe from my clutches, but after a few seconds of frenzied motion I can't help myself.  The old predator hormones kick in, and I find myself swatting and leaping and other such boisterous exercise that it belies my age.  I swear that most of the time I really am a very dignified fellow.
