Me-usings and Me-emories
19 March 2014 - Various reasons are offered as to why we cats like to perch on elevated sites...as if you peeps can actually fathom our motivations. Is it because we feel safer high above the ground? Is it to seek better viewing of nearby prey? If either of these was the case, it would have to be hard-wired since my abode doesn't harbor foe nor offer any food options except the dry-kibble variety. Yet here I sit, by choice. What I have come to realize is that higher means warmer in our house, and I like things toasty. There is a platform another fifteen feet above my pictured perch, which makes it highly (pardon the pun) desirable. But I have yet to figure out how to reach it. Surely there is an access to this indoor aerie...unless Escher designed this house.

Don't be so quick to toss a hot potato.
It can fill the belly and warm the hands.

Maybe you can convince your peeps to build you a ramp to get to your desired heights.
ReplyDeleteMaybe Opus should come over and figure out how to get up there.
