10 March 2014 - Oh, my, Florida is simply incomparable in the spring and fall.  You readers know that I am not a cold-weather cat, so this recent weather is my idea of perfect.  The shorter peep prefers fall, possibly because the balls of shed hair are not rolling, but I prefer the spring.  I purr with contentment knowing that winter is so far away.  Bring on the sunshine and the heat.  Nothing is finer than being warm from tip of nose to tip of tail, than being able to stretch out and know in every cell that you are alive.  Yes, you might not suspect it but the sap is rising.
