in the spotlight

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

27 March 2014 - If I were not a Bastet follower, I would swear allegiance to Apollo...you know the Greek charioteer that bears the sun across the sky, morning to night, day after day.  Come to think of it, I suppose cloudy days are those when Apollo and his steeds fail to show up.  Anyway, sometimes I have to go to great heights to find Apollo's handiwork.  In this photo I happen to be facing north, so these rays of light arrived via a series of reflections.  Like a banked pool shot, each bounce stole a bit of oomph.  By the time this beam fell on me, it was a specter of brightness and warmth...but I was desperate.
