departing is such sweet sorrow

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

21 July 2014 - As predicted, I am feeling much more out-going this morning...and here I am, literally doing just that. The sun is out, after an early morning drizzle, so being outside is a good destination.  Please don't report us to the regulatory board that mandates illuminated "exit" signs:  I am quite capable of finding my way out on the darkest night, and there is definitely little light pollution here in rural Canada, ten miles from the nearest town.  The peeps aren't blessed with keen eyesight, so a neon "exit" would actually be harmful to them as there is no way that they could squeeze through my cat-sized door.  Let's leave well-enough alone.  Something tells me that soon all of us will be making our last exit of the summer:  that has been the case in the past, and all things, good or otherwise, do come to an end.

"When one door closes, another opens" is really a statement about which side of the door you are on.
