3 July 2014 - Summer is when we can expect manic blockbusters on the big screen, the louder, the more frenetic, the better.  And only through a blurring sequence of still shots can the non-stop action be conveyed...which is why the picture to the right is totally inadequate.  Perhaps my concentration is evident, maybe the toes curled over the edge suggest forethought of motion, but in the instance that follows I have propelled myself across the gulf, onto the next higher surface.  Yes, energy was expended, but the outward appearance is one of effortlessness, the epitome of grace...like Spiderman arcing high above the urban streets, except I don't need props.
