taste that beats the others cold

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

19 July 2014 - Could I pass as a wild cat here?  I think that my touches of white domesticate me:  no need to feel fear if I am encountered in the woods.  Leaning in for a drink is as close as I want to come to the wet stuff, but I can still admire its beauty and will miss its lapping upon the rocks.  I also will miss the quackers that paddle by, sometimes even waddling ashore to seek out the overlooked sunflower seed.  They are easily scattered back to the lake, but if I hunker motionlessly I often am mistaken for a garden gnome and largely ignored by these feathered visitors.  They come in a variety of sizes, some as large as I am...which means that I don't play with the smaller ones.  I don't want them, all grown up, to remember me as the neighborhood bully.

One should take note what is at the core of "harassment", and not be one.
