I am not pleased

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

7 May 2017 - My peeps have been remarking on the calendar page:  "How can it possibly be May already?"  When one sleeps as much as I do, time flies by, so I don't share their amazement... but I do empathize.  For me time drags its heels during the transition to summer (this recent cool-down is further evidence).  As you know, I love heat, and all too soon I will notice that the high temperatures are beginning to falter, and it will be time for me to grow my winter coat and beg for a heated towel.  So yes, I do understand the desire, whether to preserve an especially perfect day or to merely slow its passage, to nail time's foot to the floor.  I also know (but don't tell the peeps) that it is a futile act.
