Me-usings and Me-emories

16 May 2017 - There is the theory that wearing a stern demeanor and having a no-nonsense attitude help maintain law and order.  Perhaps so, but that bearing is very stressful for the enforcer and frankly isn't my style.  I am the "good cop", the one whose laid-back approach puts the world at ease, perhaps even in a kindlier frame of mind.  It is my experience that a snarl is often returned, and things go downhill quickly after that.  I'd rather share my best Cheshire grin, and then closely observe the reaction.
