Me-usings and Me-emories
18 May 2017 - You may have come to the erroneous impression that I am a needy cat. It is true that there are things for which I request assistance, but so does the shorter peep of the taller, and the taller peep of the shorter. That is one of the hallmarks of a friendship, the willingness to pitch in. But there are many hours of the day (and most of the night when they are unconscious), that I am happily on my own. Especially now that the weather has turned toasty, I spend hours on the screened porch, bothering no one. I do need a peep to open the door for me, but that occupies such a small fraction of her time that it doesn't warrant mention.
