Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

12 May 2017 - I learned a new acronym yesterday:  ACE, or adverse childhood experiences.  Enough of these scary, violent episodes cause the "fight or flight" switch to get permanently thrown.  My early days were definitely not idyllic: homeless at a tender age, scrambling along the periphery...but I also know that my system's normal state is not awash in adrenaline.  I am grateful that I escaped the hypervigilance, because I really do enjoy my naps.  You know what they say:  do what you're good at.
