15 May 2017 - See!  I told you that the sun would return.  And everything looks rejuvenated after that much-needed rain, dust washed away, the green shiny… so I guess the grayness, both in weather and disposition, was worth it.  I am an indoor/outdoor cat (three fewer letters than "carpet"), but mostly I stay inside… often gazing out a window.  Granted, it isn't the same as being out "there", but a good deal safer and much  more comfortable.  I recognize that a thorough patrol isn't possible without occasionally prowling the woods, so I do.  I also don't want the peeps to feel like my personal portal was for nothing.
