12 August 2017 - Both of my peeps are avid readers, and they are slowly filling the available shelves here in our hinterland abode.  The taller one has stated that books and cats are a natural pairing:  if that implies that I gather dust, I take exception with that sentiment.  I have been known to sit upon a handy pile of tomes, but my favorite side-effect of living with bibliophiles is that the act of reading creates a lap that might stay put for thirty minutes or more.  So, yes, reading is a good thing... every household should have books and at least one peep (and a cat) to enjoy them.
