shedding shoulders

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

6 August 2017 - Life on our front deck isn't always a vacation.  I am on-call, which means that my snooze will be interrupted by a strange sound, an odd noise, a can't-place-it smell.  I probably could fall through the gap between balusters, but duty must better any fear.  This instance, as most occasions, was a false alarm.  But realizing that one could have ignored the disturbance doesn't excuse the next time it occurs.  Is it any wonder that the word "catnap" was coined?  A deep sleep is rare, and dangerous, for us cats.
