hale meower, full of grace

Me-ow-my-oh!

Me-usings and Me-emories

10 August 2017 - In the peep world broad shoulders and an hourglass shape are commercial gender markers, but in the cat world (and in Kliban art) this shape caught here to the right is classic.  Of course we are satirized by that arched back, especially when the fur is standing on end, but the soft curve is, I admit, visually appealing.  It isn't an affected pose, rather it is what happens when we sit.  If our front legs were longer, the result would be very different.  Why our length from shoulder to hip exceeds the length of our limbs I do not know... and I am not going to lose sleep over it.
